In order to monitor the overall system of internal controls supporting the integrity of the WEI's business activities by coordinating compliance with model validation policies. Participate in the ongoing development and administration of risk management programs, with responsibilities focused on the identification, measurement, management, and mitigation of the risks presented by business activities.
Job descriptions:
- Manage the ongoing implementation of WEI's Spreadsheet, Database Applications Policy and the Model Validation Policy to include understanding the background and impetus for various policies; demonstrate knowledge of all policy requirements; assist business units in implementing policy requirements, maintain good working relationships with all business unit partners; plan, organize, and execute reviews and perform ongoing monitoring required by policies;
perform independent reviews of selected high risk / high impact spreadsheets, databases, and quantitative models.
- Report status to management, identify risks, and recommend control enhancements.
- Participate in the execution of the WEI's annual risk self-assessments. Identifies control weaknesses, process improvement opportunities, and formulates follow-up action items.
Requirements:
- Three to 5 years' progressively responsible experience in credit, market asset liability management and operations risk management of a financial institution.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, a related field, or equivalent education required. Master's degree and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) professional certification preferred

- Analyze & advise on secondary market transaction data for Fannie Mae-backed securities
- Make recommendations on the secondary marketing by executing forward sale
- Develop and implement strategic business plan to integrate closely with overall corporate goals to grow revenues and control interest fluctuation loss

Requirements:
